Wat Tham Khiritham is a very popular community-oriented shrine located outside the city of Kanchanaburi. The large, open-air site attracts many local visitors every day who come to pay homage to its 28 standing Buddha statues. Intricate stone nagas (half-human, half-snake beings) creep through the grounds, and there is also a cave temple nearby to explore. This modern, custom-built temple fills with worshippers on Sundays and during religious holidays. However, some foreign tourists venture along the bumpy roads to reach it. It is located in the vicinity of Wat Tham Pu Wa.
