Description

In an elevated position above the village of Borgo Fornari you can see Villa Davidson, an example of an Art Nouveau villa, surrounded by a large park with trees and located in such a way as to have an extensive view over the valley. Designed by Gino Coppedè, it was built in 1909-10 on behalf of the Davidson family, as a summer residence.
The building has a succession of projections and recesses in the main body, which, together with the tower and the large dormer, give it a typical English look. The external masonry is all of face brick, with lintels and the tops of the openings in freestone.
