Vancouver: Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden

Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden is a traditional 15th century Chinese garden tha has been recreated within Vancouver. The garden design is based on the harmony between four main elements – rock, plants, water and architecture. Many of the Tai Hu rocks were imported from China and are said to have supernatural qualities related to lucky spirits. There are ponds throughout the garden symbolizing tranquility.
