Union buildings, seat of the South African government

Union buildings is the official seat of the South African government and the president of South Africa. It is located in Pretoria. It is the most beautiful government residence in the world and is considered as an architectural masterpiece. The semi-circular sandstone structure was built from 1910 to 1913 by Sir Herbert Baker. It consists of offices and an amphitheater. It is also surrounded by a lush green garden.
