Unesco: Verla is a unique sight in Finland

The World Heritage Site Verla is a unique sight. The old board mill milieu is in North Kymenlaakso, 30km from Kouvola city centre. Verla has operated as a mill museum since 1972 and it was added on the World Heritage List in 1996. The museum can be visited with guided tours only. Between May and September there are tours in Finnish starting every hour on the hour between 11-17 o’clock. Tours in other languages are available by request.
