Just outside Certaldo, along the road which heads towards Castelfiorentino and Empoli, the hill top park of Canonica includes a green area equipped with picnic tables, barbecues and play equipment for children and trails for trekking fans. Walking along these paths lined with rows of cypress trees in the Certaldo hills feels like walking in the countryside of a picture postcard. The background is made up of the high towers of San Gimignano, bell towers of small churches and the typical Tuscan landscape as far as the eye can see.
From the park the visitor can easily reach the medieval town of Certaldo to enjoy the splendid sunset at the end of a walk.
