The Audiovisual Museum of the Resistance contains numerous audio-visual testimonies of the Resistance struggle in the Apuo-Lunisian territory, and therefore in the area surrounding the notorious Gothic Line, where bloody battles between partisans and Nazi-Fascist occupiers took place.
The museum, born thanks to the commitment and determination of Paolino Ranieri, partisan and first mayor of Sarzana (SP), is dedicated to the memory of the partisan commanders Alessandro Brucellaria "Memo" and Flavio Bertone "Walter" and all those who fought for freedom.
Since 2000, the Studio Azzurro, the Italian centre for artistic experimentation and video production, has also had video settings and permanent interactive paths.
