The permanent exhibition of the Swabian Museum includes dozens of photographs from the family album that reconstruct the writer’s life and show the people closest and dearest to him. There are also his furniture-bookcase with some of his books, his violin, his golden pen.
The study room, open at the same times, contains the writer’s autograph manuscripts, the photo album, documents of the Schmitz family and the library, full of editions of Swabian works, in the original language and in translation and critical texts. For study and research needs, but also simple curiosities, degree theses, documentary and iconographic material for study or editorial purposes, bibliographic information and references in general, you can contact the museum directly during opening hours or use our contact details.
