Tower of Santa Caterina in Gizzeria

Tower of Santa Caterina (XV century?) with a truncated cone base, with a blind shoe divided from the cylindrical body by a saw, probably left during the reconstruction of this collapsed part. It has the entrance upstream, on the first floor reachable by a retractable external ladder, with a nice machicolations for the defence plunging above. The other embrasures are destroyed. It stands on a hill, the former head Condurro overlooking Lake Maricello.
