The story of this incrdrdible discovery begins when fifteen months ago a group of scholars led by brothers Raffaello and Giandomenico Glinni told the world that they had found in Naples itself, in the small cloister of Santa Maria La Nova, the tomb of Vlad Tepes, the impaler. According to those scholars, Dracula’s body was brought to Naples by his daughter, Maria, who, according to the Glinni, had married a Neapolitan nobleman. Of course, the story is not yet established and is not supported by any official documents. But in an effort to get to the bottom of it to clarify whether it is fact or fantasy, our newspaper has put together a team of experts who are studying every detail of that tomb to uncover the truth and ascertain, with clarity, whether the bloodthirsty warrior can really be buried there. The team includes three speleologists, Luca Cuttitta, Enzo De Luzio and Mauro Palumbo; a historian, Laura Miriello; a restorer, Francesco Manes; and an expert from the Vesuvius Observatory, Fabio Sansivero. The first examination, carried out by Sansivero himself with a thermal imaging camera, showed an inexplicable detail: a small portion of that tomb emanates twice as much heat as the rest of the marble. Of course, it is not a trace that clarifies whether there is the body of Vlad Tepes there. However, starting from that very "hot" spot, which is located at the base of the marble of the burial, more in-depth research has begun. Expert speleologists analyzed each portion of the marble until they uncovered an ancient crack through which they managed to thread a micro-camera that began to unlock the secrets of the mysterious tomb. Of the first detail we have already mentioned. There is a cross whose initial part is visible even from the outside: it looks like a cross of Christ to those who look at the tomb. Instead, the part that stretches behind the marble hides a secret: it is actually a cross of the devil, a seal of Satan, as confirmed by historian Laura Miriello. Exploration of the interior, thanks to the micro camera revealed other equally disturbing details. Engraved on the marble is a head, on which a cross is stuck. A little further on there is another engraving, done to perfection: it is a series of concentric circles, like the ancient representation of the Cosmos, and on the outer edge are the esoteric numbers of the Pythagoreans: 1, 2, 3, 4, 10. "Every detail of this symbology deserves to be investigated in depth," says historian Miriello clearly, "currently there is no logical explanation for this sequence of engravings. A long and careful study will be necessary before giving answers to this mystery hidden behind that marble." For now of certainties there are none, in fact one certainty there is: no evidence has emerged to say that that is really Dracula’s tomb. And even historical studies so far do not bring any confirmation to the initial hypothesis of the Glinni brothers. But those esoteric and demonic signs inside a tomb in a Franciscan church, in the heart of Naples, are there.
