The waterfalls and natural pools at El Nicho provide travelers with an ideal place to cool off in the outdoors. El Nicho is about 1.5 hours from both Cienfuegos and Trinidad.El Nicho waterfalls, in the Escambray Mountains, constitute one of the most beautiful natural landscapes of central Cuba.It becomes a peaceful site after the month of September. Among the different routes to get to it, there is one that includes a wonderful boat trip through the Hanabanilla River.
