The Village of Altos de Chavón is located in the Dominican Republic, in the region of La Romana, and is a very interesting tourist and cultural complex.The village was built in the 1970s as a replica of a medieval European village and includes a large central plaza, a church, an art school, stores, restaurants, and an outdoor amphitheater.
