A village halfway between a dream and reality. After all, who has never dreamed as a child of having a little house in a tree where they could build their own refuge in close contact with nature and where they could admire the beauty of the starry sky at night? In Piedmont there are people who have turned this dream into reality by building an entire village in the trees. On the chestnut trees of the Pelati Mountains in the Canavese region of Piedmont, a real village has been built (it is still a secret and few people know the exact location) where people live who have decided to stay in close contact with nature far from the chaos of the city and from industrial modernization.
This is the first "arboreal village in Italy" where, so far, 12 adults and a little girl live but others are starting the construction of the so-called "dream house".the houses, which are at a height of 6/7 meters, are in fact made with the most innovative techniques of green building, built with materials from the forest or recycled and completely integrated into the natural fabric that surrounds them.
