The Tuscan Butter Bean has a dark brown colour and is tender and delicate to the palate.
It is sown in April and is post-harvest. It is a climbing plant, with a short maturation cycle, which requires fresh soil and therefore good irrigation. The leaves are light green and opaque, the flowers are white, the pods are on average 160-170 mm long and about 12 mm wide, curved with an S shape.
