The fountain of Tullio (also known as the fountain of Aesculapius), created in 1790, is located in the gardens of the Villa comunale. The fountain is in Baroque style, and at first housed in the central niche a bust of Aesculapius, then replaced in the nineteenth century by a putto. Later in 1980 it was damaged by the earthquake (and deprived of the small putto as a result of a vandalism), but was later restored.
