The bridge of the Saracens is really a beautiful place for its structure and antiquity and also for the spectacle of the Alcantara river that digs the lava stone. It is one of the most beautiful medieval buildings of the whole Sicily. Built on the Simeto in the ninth century, and of Roman origin, it has an elegant central and pointed arch and the smaller side ones (round and pointed arch). It connects the municipalities of Adrano, in the province of Catania, and Centuripe, in the province of Enna.
