The Museo del Risorgimento – Istituto Mazziniano is a museum centre in Genoa entirely dedicated to the events of the Italian Risorgimento and, in particular, to some leading figures of that specific moment of Italian history closely linked to the Ligurian capital, such as Giuseppe Mazzini, Giuseppe Garibaldi and Goffredo Mameli, author of the Canto degli Italiani, the Italian national anthem.
