The Pays d’Othe area, which extends over a part of the Aube and the Yonne, is a sector known for its production of farm cider.
The cider and cider presses trail (Route des Cidres et des Pressoirs) is an interesting discovery tour that takes in Vaudeurs, the capital of Othe cider, and the apple and cider museum.
In Eaux-Puiseaux, a cider museum looks back at the history of this tradition with exhibits of, among others, presses and stills.
For those interested, a Cider festival is held in Aix-en-Othe in September.
