The Musee d’Art Contemporain de Montreal (MACM) is Canada’s premier museum dedicated solely to contemporary art. The museum’s permanent collection comprises nearly 7,600 works by local and international artists, displayed in four different rooms. Another four rooms hold temporary exhibitions. The collection includes not only contemporary paintings, but also sculptures, photographs and works on paper.
