The London Eye, the Ferris wheel of London

The London Eye, the London Ferris wheel built in 1999 to celebrate the beginning of the new millennium, immediately became one of the most recognizable figures on the London skyline. It rises 135 metres high from the south bank of the river and is now the UK’s most popular paying attraction with around 3.5 million visitors a year.
