The Holocaust Memorial is located in Miami Beach, and is one of the places in the United States with the largest number of Jewish citizens in the United States.
The most impressive part of the memorial is the 13-foot bronze hand on which hundreds of tormented human figures climb. The figures were carved with great precision and are capable of conveying so many feelings.
The monument features a dark stone tunnel, with the names of the concentration camps written on the walls. Through this sculptural complex, an attempt was made to convey the loneliness and isolation felt by Jews during their persecution.
On an enormous wall are engraved the names of the numerous victims of those atrocious exterminations.
