The Helvetinjärvi National Park

The Helvetinjärvi National Park is a national park in Finland, in the province of Western Finland. It was established in 1982 and covers an area of 49.5 km². The park landscape is dominated by geological formations dating back millions of years and created by the deep movements of the earth’s crust. After admiring the cliffs of Helvetinjärvi (literally Hell Lake) and Helvetinkolu, you can relax by the lake on the sandy beach of Haukanhieta.
