The Gulf of Orosei never ceases to amaze. In every cove, in every beach will be unstoppable the desire to immerse yourself in triumphs of nature and beauty. As in Cala Liberotto, about 14 kilometres from the town of Orosei: an emerald bay with a bottom of coarse-grained golden sand, embraced by light-coloured rocks. Not far from the shore, three large rocks, reachable thanks to the shallow seabed, emerge from the water giving the cove an exotic look. Behind them is the pond of sos Alinos, edged with reeds and agaves, ideal shelter for water birds, which choose these ravines to nest. The surrounding Mediterranean vegetation also features rounded shapes and the summer redness of prickly pears, dwarf palms and myrtle bushes that perfume the sandy shore. The particular conformation makes the cove a network of paths to explore on foot.
