The Eye is a small and mysterious island located in the delta of the Parana river, between Buonos Aires and Campana, in Argentina. It is a thin piece of land with a perfectly circular shape and a diameter of 120 meters that rotates on itself, floating in the clear and frozen waters of a puddle completely anomalous for the area. An unusual phenomenon and so perfect as to seem artificial. The island was discovered some time ago by Sergio Neuspillerm, an Argentine director specializing in films on the paranormal. The filmmaker was looking for the ideal location for his latest film and "The Eye" seemed perfect to set a story about contacts with aliens. When, weeks later, Sergio Neuspillerm returned to the location with his collaborators, he realised that the location had moved. Hence the discovery: the island is constantly moving, rotating on itself. From that moment the director began to study the phenomenon and decided to make a documentary to tell all about this mysterious area of Argentina.
Experts have also tried to give an explanation to what happens to "The Eye", mainly by studying satellite images. According to someone to move the island would be the currents of the river, for others the presence of several natural wells in the subsoil. Many, including the director Neuspillerm, are convinced that there’s something more behind the mystery of the island that rotates on itself.
