In the Regional Natural Park of the Grands Causses, between La Roque-Sainte-Marguerite and Nant, you can take the D991 and discover the gorges of the river Dourbie. This 18-kilometre-long route offers a wonderful view of wild landscapes dotted with charming little towns such as La Roque-Sainte-Marguerite, the gateway to the canyon, or the little village of Saint-Véran clinging to the rock. And don’t miss the romantic mill town of Corp, so photogenic with its beautiful humpback bridge over the Dourbie river!
In Saint-Jean-du-Bruel, Noria – La Maison de l’Eau, a centre built on the banks of the river Dourbie in a former 13th century mill, provides a better understanding of the challenges of water through a didactic, playful and interactive trail.
