The deluxe Burlington Arcade in London

The deluxe Burlington Arcade in the West End of London has been selling high end luxury goods since 1819. Running from behind Bond Street to Piccadilly, it was the first shopping arcade to have a covered roof. It was commissioned by Lord George Cavendish, “for the sale of jewelry and fancy articles of fashionable demand, for the gratification of the public.”
