The collection of stone sculptures located outdoors began to form in 1961 on the initiative of Slovenian artists Jakob Savinšek and Janez Lenassi. In more than 50 years, sculptors from over 30 countries have carved and left more than 130 stone statues, placed in an area planted with olive trees of the indigenous variety of olives from the Piran area. From the park you can admire the wonderful view of the Portorož bay and its surroundings.
