The contrast between the green and open architecture of the garden and the frescoed interior of the pavilion is one of the most visually striking moments of the visit.
Walking towards the highest terrace also provides one of the most complete views of the bend of the Vltava River and the orange rooftops of the old town below: a perspective that immediately makes it clear why this place was so coveted by the European nobility.
