The Areuse gorges in the Creux du Van nature reserve would be the perfect setting for a fantasy film. The play of colours, the perfect curvature of the moss-covered rocks, the enchanting little stone bridges and the thundering waterfalls make them resemble a fairytale landscape. The Areuse torrent rumbles through the gorge. The hiking trail, which has been created in some places with a certain daring, allows you to observe this spectacle of nature from above. A cool breeze blows even on hot summer days. The route runs alongside the railway line and the valley soon begins to narrow. The "Saut de Brot" is the most impressive point in the gorge with its idyllic old stone bridge. Continuing on to Champ du Moulin, the gorge again becomes a narrow valley.
