At the entrance to the museum, the so-called Telamon has recently been placed: an imposing statue sculpted in white marble, generally used as a structural (parastas) or decorative (pilaster) element. Attributed to the Roman imperial period, the Telamon was found in Terni in 1971, a few steps from the city center, and restored under the direction of the Superintendence for Archaeological Heritage of Umbria. To today lacks of the whole indications of excavation and equally unknown they remain committenza and destination of the find.
