Smörgåstårta, literally meaning sandwich cake, and when you see one of these, you will know how much we love bread and sandwiches. There are many different kinds of Smörgåstårta, but they are made in layers with various toppings and ingredients.
This is not something you will find in restaurants, and it’s not common to eat at home either. It’s very typical for celebrations or large gatherings since it’s quite easy to make and most Swedes love it.
