The Basilica, which preserves the relics of St. Angelo, was built from 1893 on the will of Father Giacinto Osso and thanks to the contribution of the entire community and immigrants in America.
A grandiose building, in composite style, topped by a dome, which the architect Tito Quercioli had built following the design of a church in Dublin.
Attached to the Sanctuary is the Museum of the Blessed Acre Angel, established with the aim of documenting and promoting knowledge of the figure of the Saint, also known as the "Apostle of the Calabrians", who dedicated his entire life to defending the poor people.
