Sheesh Mahal (mirror palace) in the Amber Fort

Sheesh Mahal (mirror palace), the mirror mosaics and colored glasses were a "glittering jewel box in flickering candlelight".Sheesh mahal was built by King Man Singh in the 16th century and completed in 1727. Located in the third courtyard of the Amber Palace, unfortunately it is not possible to enter the Hall. However, the inlaid panels and mirrored ceilings are visible from the outside and are stunning. This is one of the most beautiful rooms in the palace. The hall has mirrors embedded into the walls and ceiling. When the Moghul entertained his guests at night, the mirrors will give the effect of lights reflecting all over the hall.
