The Secret Buddha Garden is tucked away in the inland hills of Koh Samui and offers a spectacular panoramic view of the island, as well as an unusual collection of statues. The Secret Buddha Garden is the creation of Khun Nim, an elderly fruit grower from Koh Samui, who in 1976 began to erect several statues and temples around his family’s lush green land.
The statues depict animals, gods and humans in various poses. Khun Nim continued to work on his creation until the day he died at the age of 91.
