Sate is an Indonesian food that has become an integral part of Dutch cuisine. It\’s a dish of skewered seasoned meat – chicken, pork, beef – served with a thick peanut sauce, which is made from a sweet soy sauce called ketjapmanis, peanut butter and an Indonesian chilli sauce called sambaloelek.
