A guide for boats sailing in the seas of Sinis, the lighthouse of Capo San Marco is located in one of the most beautiful locations in Sardinia, overlooking the ruins of the archaeological area of Tharros. The lighthouse also signals the presence of the Catalan rock. The walk from the ruins to the lighthouse is truly spectacular; it descends sheer to the sea between phoenix tombs dug into the cliff and spontaneous vegetation. This lighthouse is linked to the work of Elisabetta Deriu, the first woman pharist in Italy.
