Pljeskávica is the local version of the hamburger, more flavorful and tasty, consisting of a minced meatball, usually composed of two or more meats, which is first marinated with garlic, onion, chili pepper and sweet paprika and then mashed and cooked. It can be served with various side dishes, on its own or inside hot pita bread.
