A small village in the Aosta Valley along the course of the Dora Baltea that will win you over with its fantastic medieval atmosphere. This is Saint-Pierre, a "fairytale kingdom" with its castles of Saint-Pierre and Sarriod de la Tour. The first, from the 13th century, houses the Museum of Natural Sciences; the second, from the 14th century, is the most important from an artistic point of view, with a hall of honour with 170 figurines decorated in the ceiling beams. In its chapel there is a very beautiful Saint Christopher by an unknown artist.
