Sail Rock, also known as Parus Rock is a natural monument of natural sandstone monolith in the Krasnodar Territory, located on the Black Sea coast in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, 17 km south-east of Gelendzhik, near the village of Praskoveyevka and about 500 meters along the seashore.It is a vertically standing on the seashore layer of sandstone, separated from the main rock massif by a dip. The shape of the rock resembles the outline of a quadrangular sail, for which it received its name. With a rock thickness of a little more than a meter, the height is more than 25 meters, and a length is more than 20 (various sources indicate a height of 30 meters and a length of 25 meters), while more than three-quarters of the rock protrudes into the sea perpendicular to the shore.
