Sa Mola de Su Notariu - Oil Museum was founded in 2003 by Francesco Locci, owner of the Oleificio Locci of Dolianova, in order to make available the objects, documents and equipment preserved or recovered with great commitment over the years, by his ancestors and himself in Sardinia and the rest of the world, on everything related to the culture of oil and olive trees.

In the museum are visible not only many tools and machinery used over the centuries for the production and preservation of olive oil, but also many rare documents and books on the subject. Unique in Sardinia is the rich collection of oil-powered oil lamps from all over the world on display in the basement.
