The Museum of Merchandise is located within the Faculty of Economics on an area of about 300 square meters, includes 7000 exhibits in various sectors: metals, precious stones, textile fibers, building materials and decoration, ceramics, plastics, recycling, chemicals, food products, seafood, packaging, minerals, rubber, tanning products, dyes, coal, hydrocarbons, xylotheque,… It also includes a collection of laboratory instruments and equipment from the early twentieth century and beyond. The logic of the exhibitions is to highlight how raw materials have different uses in industry, how a product is obtained from an industrial process and how products and raw materials, of great use in the past, are now replaced by new ones.
