Piazza della Repubblica is undoubtedly the most suggestive square in the village. It is the meeting point between the cardo and decumanus and was once the site of the Roman Forum, the seat of public buildings and commercial activities. In Piazza della Repubblica there is the Palazzo Comunale, characterized by the large entrance staircase and the clock tower, and the Palazzo dei Capitani del Popolo, also known as Palazzo Passerini.
