Remouchamps Caves – Longest underground navigation of the world

The Remouchamps Caves have been open to visitors since 1828. It’s one of the classic activities in the Belgian Ardennes: a 75-minute underground trip, on foot or by boat. The Caves have already been visited by tourists since 1828. The torches made out of wax which were used by the first visitors, only gave them a vague impression of what one can see now with the splendid lighting. The feeling of mystery probably weighed more heavily than seeing the underground beauty… The longest underground navigation of the world!
