The beauty of the landscape is not equal to that of the magnificent seabed that encloses a marine universe of great interest and one of the most beautiful examples of Mediterranean flora and fauna. Like the prairie of posidonia oceanica, with high biodiversity, as well as prairies of sea daisies, spirographs and sponges.
The fauna, in addition to the typical Mediterranean one, is characterized by the brown grouper (symbol of the Park), the hermit hermit hermit hermit hermit crab, sea anemones, red scorpionfish, prairie urchin, starfish, moray eel and many other species. And it is not excluded, from time to time, the passage of dolphins, starfish and sea turtles of the Caretta caretta species.
The Regional Marine Park "Scogli di Isca" was established by the Calabria Region with Law n.12 of 21 April 2008, formerly the Blue Oasis since 1991 at the will of the WWF.
The protected area extends in the strip of sea between the municipalities of Amantea and Belmonte Calabro, for an extension of about 69 hectares and a depth of 25 meters, from which two rocks emerge, Isca Grande and Isca Piccola, which seem to have been known since the time of Homer.
