Starting from the traffic circle located at the entrance of the historical center of Trebbio, the main village of Fiastra, you have to follow the indications for Sarnano-Bolognola going down towards the lake. Arrived in San Lorenzo and going up along the other bank, you must turn left at the first crossroads continuing to follow the signs for Sarnano along the shortest way. Continuing for about 4 km and skirting the shore of the lake, you will arrive at the dam where you can park your vehicle to start your journey.
After crossing the lock, you will find a small tunnel on your left that you will have to cross to get into the only path that will lead you to the Lame Rosse (nr. 335).
