Rabbits beach, turtle paradise

From the east coast, with the rocky cove of the Dead Sea, descend southwards to reach the spectacular Rabbits beach. At the top of all the charts, the beach also shrugs off some Caribbean islands. Looking at it from above, it seems that the boats anchored to the bottom are actually suspended in the void, so much is the transparency of the water. And that this is a dream place is well known to the caretta caretta turtles, who come here to lay their eggs. The species, strongly threatened by coastal erosion, sea storms, stray dogs, seagulls and rats, is under the strict protection of Legambiente and WWF, so the entrance to the beach is regulated by rather strict timetables and behavioural rules. Do not miss the bays of the northern coast, the caves and steep cliffs, the exciting dives. In the evening you will already be saturated with wonders, so it is more than pleasant to take a quiet walk through the village and have a look at the shops in the centre for a turtle-shaped souvenir.
