Quedlinburg

Located in the northern parts of Germany, only 3 hours away from Berlin, you will find one of the prettiest and most quaint little towns in the country, Quedlinburg. Quedlinburg is known for its medieval vibes and typical half-timbered houses, which are so unique that in 1994 the old town was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list. As a matter of fact, it is considered one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval renaissance towns. Quedlinburg is easily walkable and can be explored within a day, which makes it perfect for a day trip. Some of the most important highlights of the city include the castle, the church of St. Servatius, the city hall and all of the old town.
