This waterfall is one of the most beautiful in Europe. It is 780 meters above sea level, in the Kucaj Mountains, in the eastern side of Serbia. It is called Prskalo Waterfall, which can be translated as “spatter” or “splashed”. This name was received due to a plurality of droplets, which bounce off the stones at the bottom. Is a natural phenomenon, the dome built up of Tufa layers with which the water gushes through narrow channels, ie. sprayed down, which is why it got its name Prskalo (splashed).
The path to the waterfall is actually a forest road that is often quite impassable, but certainly worth the effort since the end of the road you will come across a sight that will take your breath away.
