Shadowed by towering palm trees and surrounded by severe 19th-century buildings, Plaça Reial è one of Barcelona’s most emblematic squares, a great starting point for a night out.

Plaça Reial is located right next to the famous street of the Ramblas. In 1848, the cityà of Barcelona commissioned architect Francesc Daniel Milona to build this square.

The numerous terraces, the central fountain, the gallery of arches and the majestic palm trees give the pedestrian plaza a typically Spanish atmosphere.

Today Plaça Reial has many restaurants and bars and è a lively plaza both day and night.

In the center of Plaça Reial è lies the fountain with the Three Graces and with two special street lamps.
