Terme di Vinadio is located in the small town in the province of Cuneo. Vinadio is part of the Stura Valley Mountain Community and is located close to a naturalistic context of the highest level, where the presence of the highest sanctuary in Europe (at about 2035 meters) gives a unique charm to this pleasant place.
Built at an altitude of 1305 m. in the upper Stura valley, the spa of Vinadio can boast the presence of a particular microclimate, able to raise the structure to the status of a climatic oasis, and of numerous mineral spring waters, ideal for the treatment and resolution of many aches and pains caused by stress and pollution. At a therapeutic level, the Vinadio thermal baths base their rehabilitation paths on the presence of a particular medium-mineral chlorinated, calcium, lithium and sulphurous spring water that exploits the complexity of the surrounding ravines and soils to guarantee a unique mineral composition that can be adapted to the most diverse clinical and aesthetic needs. The thermal waters of Vinadio come from the Upper Stura di Demonte Valley; they derive from infiltrations, up to 8000 metres deep, of water from basins situated between 2400 and 2600 metres above sea level, and finally flow out at a temperature of 75°C at 1350 metres above sea level. The vapours heat the three natural caves, used as saunas, up to 60°. In addition, the Romans have left ancient tanks today used for mud at a temperature of 41 ° C.
It’s mainly sulphurous water.
At Terme di Vinadio are cured otorhinolaringoiatric, respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive and urinary tract diseases, liver and spare parts diseases, dermatological, rheumatic and locomotion diseases.
